LUCKY (10:00 p.m.) (Noise pop - Staghorn Flat, AUS) Lucky, the brainchild of Chelsea Knight, is making a spectacular entrance onto the music scene with distorted guitars and captivating storytelling. She grew up in the small rural town of Staghorn Flat, Australia, and began writing music while working in her family’s sign-making workshop. Blending the raw energy of alternative rock with the dreamy poetry of modern indie, her music captures the nuances of everyday moments and reaches deep into the soul, placing you at the very heart of her world. Chelsea Knight’s first twelve months as an artist have been particularly eventful: extensive airplay on leading Australian station triple j, supporting American ’90s icons Garbage on tour across the country, and multiple additions to Spotify’s highly coveted “Fresh Finds Global” playlist. Her long list of achievements also includes winning a triple j competition to secure a slot at the Beyond The Valley festival, appearing three times among Shazam’s trending tracks, performing showcases in Austin, Texas, for SXSW, and earning a place in NME’s “Global 100” list of emerging artists to watch — giving her a spectacular start in Australia while building an international reputation.
