Cécile Raynal presents her paintings devoted to the landscapes and architecture of the 8th arrondissement.
From September 14 to 25, 2026, the Mairie du 8e arrondissement is hosting “A Swallow over the Rooftops of the 8th Arrondissement,” an exhibition by artist Cécile Raynal. Through her paintings, Cécile Raynal offers a distinctive perspective on Paris, particularly the 8th arrondissement. Rooftops, façades, windows, and urban vistas become vantage points from which to rediscover familiar places from a new angle. Her work gives special attention to architecture and the details that shape the Parisian landscape, inviting visitors to gain a new perspective and see the city differently.
