Wear art, dance art!

For this special late-night opening, visitors are invited to dress like an artist and discover the temporary exhibition L’étoffe de l’artiste. De Rosa Bonheur à Sonia Delaunay in a festive atmosphere. Painter’s smock, lavallière tie, studio attire: everyone is free to put their own spin on the elegance and creativity of artists. A photo booth will let visitors capture their outfits and take home a souvenir of this unique evening. Express tours of the exhibition will be offered at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 7:15 p.m. (registration on site), exploring how artists turned clothing into a true form of expression. From 8 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., it’s time to dance! After an introduction to 1930s swing dancing led by instructors from Shake that Swing, participants can hit the dance floor to the rhythm of lindy hop, Charleston, or jazz. Throughout the evening, the Le Rhodia café-restaurant will offer light refreshments and a menu specially created for the occasion. Come in costume and, for one evening, bring the boldest looks in art history back to life! Evening program: - 6 p.m.–9 p.m.: access to the exhibition, with three 30-minute express tours—registration on site—at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 7:15 p.m. (last admission at 8:15 p.m.) - 8 p.m.: swing dance begins - 8:30 p.m.–9:15 p.m.: introduction to swing dancing - 9:15 p.m.–10:15 p.m.: swing dance continues - Throughout the evening: food and refreshments available at the café-restaurant - 10:30 p.m.: museum closes
