Nap Concert
Originally from Catalogne, Efrén López is a brilliant instrumentalist, a specialist in the hurdy-gurdy, lute, and various plucked string instruments, whose sounds carry us from the Méditerranée orientale to Asie centrale. Sylvain Barou is a gifted flutist, rooted in the bretonne and irlandaise traditions, but musical encounters irresistibly draw him toward Inde, Turquie, Arménie, Iran… and just as many wind instruments. Driven by the same spirit of exploration, the two artists share a common vision of musical tradition as a tool for creation, and a deep understanding of the musical systems they visit. For the duration of a concert without borders, the duo offers us an escape at the crossroads of influences. The program blends original compositions, improvisations, and traditional arméniennes, turques, afghanes, and bulgares pieces. In partnership with Attacafa - scène universelle nomade
