Discover the night sky visible from the region – Live presentation by a science educator and full-dome projection – Suitable for all audiences aged 10 and over. Session highlights: • The September equinox, when day and night are equal in length, and the symbolism of the Libra constellation • Neptune at its closest to Earth: the incredible story of its discovery in 1846 and observations from Earth and up close by the Voyager 2 probe • Stars as beautiful as rubies: searching for carbon stars! This program will be followed by a screening of the film "The Sun, Our Living Star". Astronomy sessions are free for annual pass holders and same-day visitors to Planet Ocean Montpellier! Subject to availability. Advance booking is required. *Admission to the session is no longer possible after 7:00 p.m. Approximate duration.
