Brilliantly colored dragonflies, wings outstretched, the whirling companions of our sunny walks, devote the few months of their aerial life to reproduction. During the warm season, we have the chance to admire these insects. Their life, however, is not limited to this period alone. In fact, most of their existence is spent as aquatic larvae. Less well known and more discreet, they nevertheless play a vital role in the balance of the environments they sometimes inhabit for several years. The public is invited to get to know these insects and their little-known feats. Panels, models, and photographs offer a glimpse into the intimate lives of these animals and reveal some of their unique traits.
