À propos

For more than 15 years, the Nantes-based association Trafic d’airs has supported creative, playful and critical approaches to francophone song. Our new musical show "Voisins voisines" features 25 French-language songs that explore the subject of neighborhood life in all its forms, from Jeanne Cherhal to Alain Souchon, from Véronique Sanson to Eddie de Pretto, from Coline Rio to Feu! Chatterton. Neighbors are the people we pass on the landing or in the street, those with whom we share moments of conviviality, but also tensions and boundaries. They are also citizens of a neighboring country, met through travel or family history. Finally, they are those who come from elsewhere, carried by migration and by the need to invent a new place to live. Through a selection of contemporary songs, the concert "Voisins, voisines" highlights the many faces of "living together" today. The chosen songs question close relationships, openness to others, and the way our personal stories intersect with collective history. Behind the portraits, sometimes funny or tender, a broader reflection on contemporary society takes shape: one of borders, encounters and solidarities. During these 2 new concerts with original arrangements, 6 performers from the Trafic d'airs workshops, accompanied by 3 professional musicians, explore how contemporary song can evoke both the closeness of everyday life, issues linked to migration, and open up to the questions and challenges of today’s world. Amateur performers: Aurélie, Emmanuelle, Julien, Maxime, Pauline and VéroniqueProfessional instrumentalists: Sophie Chesnel (drums), Jérôme Delaune (guitars), Manu Guillard (keyboard)Artistic direction: Anne-Laure Château Concerts on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 8 p.m. Bar and light refreshments on site.
