The tour, accompanied by the Ville de Paris heritage curator, offers visitors the chance to rediscover the recently restored murals by Philippe de Champaigne and Charles Timbal. These works will be accessible to the public for the first time. At the heart of the vibrant Quartier Latin, filled with students from Paris, stands the symbol of France's oldest university: the dome of the chapelle de la Sorbonne. A major landmark of French classical architecture in this quintessential student district, the chapelle Sainte-Ursule de la Sorbonne (or chapelle de la Sorbonne) is now one of Paris's most iconic buildings. Designed by the most talented artists of their time, it houses unexpected treasures, including the famous tomb of its founder, Cardinal de Richelieu, and stands as a unique testament to 17th-century Parisian architecture.
