AKAA – Also Known As Africa, the first and leading contemporary art fair focused on Africa in France, celebrates its 11th edition this year. Like a plural continent in constant dialogue with the world, AKAA showcases works that cross borders and resonate through the perspectives of engaged artists. On the occasion of photography's bicentennial, the fair creates a new AKAA PHOTO space, which will show how photographers shape visual memory that tells of upheavals in time, independences, transformations of cities, reinvented traditions, youth dreams, and the strength of legacies. Fair accessible to people with hearing impairments.
