Wondering how to help your child make the right choices after the baccalauréat? Parcoursup, schools, universities, work-study programs, careers… On October 3 and 4 in Paris, Le Figaro Étudiant is organizing its post-secondary fair, an event not to be missed for supporting high school students (and their parents) as they make decisions about their future studies. The best part? It’s free!
Choosing what to do after the baccalauréat is a crucial step that often raises questions and causes stress for high school students and their families alike. How does Parcoursup work? Which program should they choose? Which career would truly suit my child? To answer all these questions, Le Figaro Étudiant is organizing a new edition of Salon Post Bac Paris, to be held on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 at Espace Champerret, in the 17e arrondissement. This completely free fair offers a comprehensive, structured journey through several themed areas designed to guide young people and their parents at every stage of their decision-making process: - I get to know myself: through group coaching workshops, sophrology sessions and activities to develop interpersonal skills (soft skills), as well as to better identify personal strengths and interests. - I explore the professional world: career panel discussions, interactive exploration through a mobile app, advice on writing an effective résumé… all valuable tools for better understanding the realities of the job market. - I discover higher education: this area features opportunities to meet schools and universities, panel discussions on different programs, work-study options, and short- or long-term courses of study… a true compass for navigating the options. - Terminale Focus – Parcoursup: practical workshops to understand how the Parcoursup platform works and its key stages, as well as how to look after your mental health and adopt an effective approach. - Grand Oral Focus: advice on improving your presentation and posture, along with methodology and public-speaking workshops that are essential for succeeding in this baccalauréat exam. - Parents’ Area: because parents play an essential role during this period, dedicated workshops will help you support your child with confidence, ease the pressure and share your experiences. These workshops are offered in partnership with the associations l'APEL and Génération 15-25. - And much more! Whether you are the parent of a future baccalauréat graduate or simply looking for information to prepare for this stage as effectively as possible, Salon Post Bac Paris is a unique opportunity to meet experts, speak with professionals and reassure your child about their choices.
