A unique experience for two: come and prepare to welcome new life together during a timeless, supportive moment of complete connection, in the heart of Pour Parler.
MATAYOGA COMES TO COMMUNALE SAINT-OUEN Pregnancy is an intense adventure, especially when you have the right support. On Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., our Confroom will welcome Marion Denys, founder of Matayoga. With ten years of expertise in maternity support and training in the renowned de Gasquet method, Marion will share her invaluable knowledge. The idea is simple: to provide a safe, welcoming space where the expectant mother and her chosen birth partner can learn to work as a team before the big day. YOUR PARTNER WORKSHOP PROGRAM This two-and-a-half-hour workshop is designed entirely for expectant parents from the second trimester onward. It begins gently with a prenatal yoga session to release the diaphragm, stretch, and become comfortable with breathing techniques. Then it’s time for hands-on practice: together, you’ll learn how to use essential tools such as a birthing ball and rebozo to ease pain and help the baby move through the birth canal. It’s the perfect opportunity for the birth partner to find their role by learning effective massage techniques and positions for two. A TIME FOR SHARING AND RELAXATION Because a calm birth also depends on your state of mind, Marion will guide you through the essential theory needed to understand how the body works, while encouraging an open discussion to help ease any lingering fears. You’ll leave with plenty of practical advice and tips for preparing for the return home and navigating the postpartum period hand in hand. The workshop will end on a high note with a guided relaxation session to enjoy together, leaving you feeling lighter, calmer, and ready to imagine your new life as a family.
