La TraverSeine is a unique opportunity to cross Paris via the Seine by Canoe, Kayak, Paddle, Outrigger Canoe, or Dragon Boat. In discovery mode (13km) or competition mode (26km) alone or as a team, come and discover Paris and the Hauts-de-Seine in a different way.
This event is co-organized by the Departmental Committee of Canoe-Kayak of Hauts-de-Seine (CDCK92) and the Departmental Committee of Canoe-Kayak of Paris (CDCK75) with the support of the Regional Committee of Canoe-Kayak of Île-de-France (CRIFCK). La TraverSeine is the successor to the "Coupe Jean Olry" and the "Traversée de Paris," organized for the first time in 1947. La TraverSeine is a weekend dedicated to canoe-kayak and paddle sports, whose highlight is the crossing of Paris intra-muros via the Seine, a route accessible only on this occasion. All you need to know about the race The 13 km leisure routes (Paris-Sèvres) - To discover Paris in a different way aboard your own equipment or with boats rented by the organization (single-seat kayak, two-seat kayak and paddle). This canoe-kayak and paddle course is open to everyone from age 12 (accompanied ages 12-16). 26 km Challenge / Competition - The Challenge/Competition course starts and finishes at the Nautical Park of Ile de Monsieur in Sèvres. This 26 km loop will allow you to cross Paris twice. Open to canoes, kayaks, outrigger canoes 1 and 2 seats for experienced paddlers. Mandatory course for large vessels (V6, OC6, C9 and Dragon-Boat). 13 km Challenge Youth and SUP - The Challenge Youth & SUP course is open to youth (ages 12-18 and accompanied ages 12-16) in canoe or kayak 1 or 2 seats, and to paddleboards over a distance of 13 km between the PARIS site and the Nautical Park of Ile de Monsieur in Sèvres.
