Actualités Éditions celebrates its 10th anniversary at the Oscar Wilde library
Since its creation, Actualités Éditions has championed a strong vision: theater that is as much meant to be read as performed. Refusing to make the publication of texts dependent on their staging, the publishing house asserts the autonomy of dramatic writing and restores the reader to their rightful place. This approach helps renew the collective imagination and opens up new ways of engaging with contemporary drama, turning readers into future theatergoers. The catalog is organized into original collections, each dedicated to a Spanish-speaking region. This structure is one of the publishing house’s most distinctive hallmarks. These collections include Les Incorrigibles (Spain), Les Gravitations (Uruguay), Les Orfèvres (Mexico), Les Façonneurs (Cuba), Les Fictions (Argentina), Les Équilibristes (Costa Rica), and Écrits pour le théâtre, together forming a vibrant and diverse publishing map that helps works reach wider audiences and contributes to the decolonization of cultural imaginaries.
