We invite you to discover the original drawings from Louis Clichy's animated film Le Corset at 24 rue de Lappe, Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming exhibition dedicated to the original drawings from artist Louis Clichy's animated film Le Corset, from October 1 to October 18, 2026, at our Paris gallery. “On a farm in the heart of Beauce, 11-year-old Christophe follows in his father's footsteps. But at school, at home, and on the tractor, Christophe leans… and falls. He is forced to wear a brace to keep himself straight. As the farm goes through difficult times, Christophe grows up as best he can. He discovers music and meets Clara, with whom anything seems possible.” Le Corset is a personal story tracing the journey of Christophe, a young man from Beauce who is forced to wear a brace from CM2 onward. Through his story, the people he meets, and his village, the film paints an intimate portrait, brought to life through remarkable ink and watercolor artwork. The film will be released in theaters on October 14. It has already received acclaim at major festivals and won several awards in 2026: Special Jury Prize, Un certain regard – Festival de Cannes 2026 Audience Award – Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy 2026 Jury Prize – Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy 2026 Fondation Gan Distribution Award – Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy 2026 Film trailer: https://www.kmbofilms.com/distribution/le-corset-film/ The artist Born in 1979 and originally from Beauce, Louis Clichy trained in animation at the École des Gobelins. He began his career as an animator at Pixar, working on Wall-E (2008) and Là-haut (2009). He then co-directed with Alexandre AstierAstérix : Le Domaine des Dieux (2014) and Astérix : Le Secret de la potion magique (2018). Le Corset is his first personal feature film as a director. After spending many years working in 3D animation, the film showcases a highly personal style characterized by line and ink drawing, reconnecting with Mange and À quoi ça sert l’amour, his first short films. Our commitments For the past five years, we have focused on highlighting the artwork behind the book, allowing our visitors to experience the full richness of comics. Purchasing a book thus becomes part of a more complete and meaningful experience. Through original comic-book pages, immerse yourself in the heart of the graphic novel. Discover the linework, the vibrancy of the colors, the depth of black and white, and sometimes even the artist's thoughts through brief notes. Opening reception Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 6 p.m. Open to everyone

Admission: Our exhibitions and opening receptions are completely free and open to everyone, with no reservation required.
