Éclats Rémanence is organizing a theater workshop during the 2026 All Saints’ school holidays!
This workshop will run for 6 days: from Monday, October 26 to Saturday, October 31, 2026, each day from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Led by Margot Abascal, it will take place in a pleasant rehearsal studio in Paris, just steps from Opéra. It will welcome a maximum of 10 participants. "At Jean-Noël Dahan’s invitation, I am delighted to offer an acting workshop open to everyone: professionals and amateurs alike (‘amateur’ means ‘one who loves’! Amo, amat, amare…). As a performer, I have often been unexpectedly inspired during sessions that brought together people from different backgrounds: each time, I came away transformed and better at my craft. Unexpected encounters are a source of productive inspiration! The aim is to bring together people who are eager to learn, embrace surprises, explore familiar and unfamiliar exercises, experience both known and new sensations, and engage with dramaturgical questions. - Playful warm-ups, both group and individual. > develop eloquence and articulation through the singing voice. > refine focus and intention through direct address, movement, movement through space… and the sensory method. - Various approaches to working with text. > spontaneous reading. > group and solo improvisation. And in keeping with Jean-Noël’s proposal, you are welcome to bring your questions and your personal and professional projects: "You may be working on something: a project to refine, a text to write, an audition or exam to prepare for, an intuition to nurture…" I will also be delighted to hear you as we discover selected texts that are close to my heart."
