Change of address? Notify organizations and the administration in just a few clicks! Published on May 6, 2026 - Service Public / Direction de l'information légale et administrative (Premier ministre)

Moving home, changing your phone number or email address… There can be many steps involved in informing the various organizations. The “Je change de coordonnées” (JCC) online service, available on service-public.gouv.fr, lets you report your change of address to several organizations at the same time through a single, free and secure procedure.

The “Je change de coordonnées” procedure is an online service that lets you declare your new contact details without having to contact each relevant organization individually.

All you need to do is complete the form, indicating the information that has changed. This information is sent directly to the selected organizations, with no further action required on your part, under the “Dites-le nous une fois” principle.

You can inform more than 30 national organizations, including:

  • the Direction générale des finances publiques (DGFIP);

  • Assurance maladie;

  • many pension funds;

  • as well as certain energy providers.

In addition to moves, the procedure also covers certain administrative changes, such as:

  • changes to municipality names following a merger;

  • renaming of streets or roads.

Although less frequent, these situations can affect several thousand people at once. In 1 click, the changes are made.

You can also use this online service to report a change of email address and phone number (landline or mobile).

The procedure is also open to local authorities: more than 4,500 town halls are connected to the system via Datapass, allowing you to declare a change of address to your municipality of residence.
