Law to simplify economic life
Filing procedures for internal regulations are evolving Published on 27 May 2026 - Entreprendre Service Public / Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister's Office)
The Law of 26 May 2026 to simplify economic life eases administrative formalities for businesses. As a result, the procedures for filing a company's internal regulations have changed. Here's what you need to know.

The Law to simplify economic life introduces a change regarding the filing procedures for a company's internal regulations.
Until now, in order to validate the internal regulations, they had to be filed with the registry of the Labour Court (Conseil de prud'hommes). This step has now been removed.
Other formalities remain in force: the internal regulations must be brought to the attention of employees and submitted to the labour inspectorate.
Furthermore, before being implemented, they must still be submitted beforehand to the company's Social and Economic Committee (CSE), even though its opinion is advisory only.
Article L. 1311-2 of the Labour Code stipulates that internal regulations are mandatory for companies with at least 50 employees.
