International publishing house with scientific focus, seeking a permanent contract Drupal / PHP Full Stack Engineer - France-China (M/F).

Position objective Develop front-end and back-end applications, contribute to the evolution of internal platforms while respecting quality, security and agility standards, and facilitate technical communication between French and Chinese teams.

Required Skills

Full Stack Competencies

• Mastery of Drupal (priority project) and knowledge of Joomla.

Front-End Development

• Develop modern web interfaces in HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
• Integrate Bootstrap and/or CSS frameworks to create responsive interfaces.
• Implement or maintain components using jQuery (for legacy projects)
• Participate in front-end code reviews and continuous UI/UX improvement.

Back-End Development

• Design, develop and maintain back-end services in PHP.
• Participate in development or refactoring on PHP frameworks: Symfony, Zend.
• Manipulate and optimize databases via SQL (MySQL and PostGres).
• Mastery of REST APIs

Agile Methodology

• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Collaborate in agile mode with France + China team.

France-China Coordination

• Ensure smooth communication between FR and CN technical teams.
• Translate technical or functional requirements between the two languages.
• Participate in bilingual technical or steering meetings.

Optional Skills

Other Front-End and Back-End Development Competencies

• Contribute to CSS structuring via SASS/LESS preprocessors as needed.
• Maintain and transform data exchange flows via XML / XSLT.
• Update or maintain legacy scripts in Perl or Python when necessary.

Light Administration & Infrastructure

• Participate in development operations on Linux or Windows environments.
• Collaborate with the systems team for Unix server configuration.
• Participate in deployments or integrations on AWS cloud (depending on project).

Design & Architecture

• Participate in functional and technical modeling (UML, MCD).
• Contribute to code structuring via the application of good Design Patterns.
• Document existing or new architectures.

Desired Profile

Education

• Bachelor's degree +5 years or equivalent in IT, software development or software engineering.

Language Skills

• French: fluent
• Mandarin Chinese: fluent
• Technical English: desired

• Teaching ability, capacity to simplify complex concepts.
• Rigor, autonomy and initiative.
• Adaptation to hybrid FR/CN environments.
