Weekly dance classes for children
The Maison de quartier du Vieux-Lille offers engaging and creative dance classes for your children every Wednesday afternoon. Thanks to her open and progressive teaching style, Catherine Delaporte (a teacher from the "Re-création!" association and former dancer at the Lille Opera) allows children to discover dance through a dual approach. Within each session, classical dance and expression coexist and complement each other, contributing to a harmonious physical and psychological development of the children. - The introduction to classical dance, a structuring discipline, provides them with concentration, memorization skills, precision of movement, subtle listening, and an appreciation for classical music. - Expression, through rhythm games, inventions, and explorations, allows them to develop their creativity, imagination, and self-confidence by valuing their own gestures. 6-7 years: 3 PM - 4 PM 8-11 years: 4 PM - 5 PM Welcome for a trial class!
