A photographic exhibition by Clémentine Nivault, a third-year student in Plastic Arts at Rennes 2
In this exhibition, there are no furniture creations but rather contemplation. Contemplation is a visual exploration of Sweden, more specifically its Bohuslän region. It is not a documentary, but a quest to capture atmospheres so that each photographic series has its own story. This project attempts to establish a dialogue between the city and the sea, the descriptive and the contemplative, the art of photography and writing. Clémentine invites you to dive into her universe straight from her summer road trip. As the shooting progressed, a text gradually formed, giving birth to the project in a continuous movement between images and writing. The text aims to be both a narrative and a breath, an invitation to the audience to immerse themselves in the Swedish atmosphere, a true Nordic breath.
