Writing workshops, discussions, an open mic session and performance readings. Following a first edition filled with meaningful encounters, Grand Cordel MJC remains firmly committed to promoting literature that is vibrant, diverse and open to the world. By placing writing and the spoken word at the heart of its mission, the Écrire & Dire festival aims to amplify distinctive, powerful and vital voices. As our world undergoes profound change, words become tools for understanding, empowerment and sharing. They question, illuminate and sometimes challenge us, always in the spirit of open dialogue. The socially engaged writers, poets and artist collectives joining us this year transform their texts into spaces for struggle, dreams and reflection — forms of joyful resistance to uniformity. The festival will take over the spaces of Grand Cordel MJC and partner bookshops with a programme centred on exchange and creativity: writing workshops, performance readings, an open mic session, discussions… all opportunities to showcase these new forms of writing, accessible to everyone and often far removed from the beaten path. For this new edition, we invite you to discover these living literatures, which are inventing new ways of expressing the world.
