PEÑA ESTRELLA FLAMENCO in LILLE offers a weekly class for children (ages 5 to 11) from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM on Wednesdays (excluding school holidays) DATES 2025-26: 17, 24/09 – 01, 08, 15/10 – 05, 12, 19, 26/11 – 03, 10, 17/12 – 07, 14, 21, 28/01 – 04, 11/02 – 04, 11, 18, 25/03 – 01, 08, 29/04 – 06, 13, 20, 27/05 – 03/06 Come for a trial class with no commitment: 1st class free! A bailar Niños Olé! NB: The classes organized by Peña Estrella are all taught by experienced, active artists who can demonstrate real experience and regular activity in the practice of the art. OPERATION – ATTIRE > Please arrive 5 minutes BEFORE EACH CLASS > Parents drop off children at the entrance of the classroom and return at 6:15 PM to pick them up (No parents will be allowed to stay and attend the class to avoid disrupting it) > ATTIRE and SHOES: The teachers will indicate the outfits or shoes to purchase, or they may be available for rent (depending on annual guidelines and available stock) > FOR TRIALS: Loose and comfortable attire, flat shoes. PEÑA ESTRELLA FLAMENCO IN LILLE Peña Estrella promotes Flamenco culture in Lille through classes in Dance, singing, guitar, and cajon, as well as performances. Founded by Patricia WARTELLE, the "Mama" of Flamenco who has supported this art in Lille since 1984 through numerous events, it is now her daughter Estrella who has taken up the torch, accompanied by a team of passionate instructors. Adults and children come together in a joyful atmosphere to approach the teaching of music, singing, or dance.
