From June 5 to July 3, the Maison des Associations is hosting Marc Helleboid’s photography exhibition “Racism, What Do You Think? – Taking Action to Live Better Together.”
How can we talk about racism through real-life experiences and different perspectives? Through this exhibition, photographer Marc Helleboid met with children, teenagers, and adults from a neighborhood to gather their testimonies and reflections on racist behavior. Some share situations they have experienced, while others talk about their commitment to living better together and valuing the richness of the cultures around them. The exhibition presents these encounters through sensitive and powerful black-and-white portraits. Produced with the Centre Social et Culturel Denise Cacheux de Lille, in partnership with the Préfecture du Nord, the Agence nationale de la cohésion des territoires, and the Ville de Lille
