An unmissable event marking the start of the new season, the Festival International du Court Métrage celebrates short films in all their diversity, in a friendly atmosphere.
Over 10 days, the Festival offers a rich and varied program to enjoy in theaters or outdoors. Competition screenings, discussions about regional filmmaking, a film concert and a creative challenge (Marathon du Court) will set the pace for this 26th edition, alongside numerous screenings dedicated to animated films (Best-of écoles, Première page), leading up to one of the Festival’s major highlights: the traditional Nuit de l’animation. This year, Les Films du Nord are in the spotlight, with a special focus spanning several screenings for young audiences and a masterclass by Arnaud Demuynck. To extend the Festival experience, the Village des Enfants offers a weekend of workshops and screenings for the whole family, on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 at Site Minier d’Arenberg - La Porte du Hainaut. _______ 26th FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU COURT MÉTRAGE September 17 > 27, 2026 Gare Saint Sauveur, L’hybride, Théâtre Sébastopol - LILLE www.festivalducourt-lille.com
