The electronic cocoon is a meditative concert, or "sound bath." Drawing on his experience of shamanic ceremonies and his love of drone music, Raphaël Foulon creates an immersive, relaxing soundscape designed to inspire an inner journey. The sounds are shaped live using a modular synthesizer and broadcast through a 360-degree speaker system, opening up a dialogue between traditional sound-healing practices and modern sound-synthesis techniques.
