Uniforms – photographic series, 2024 By Claire-Marie Régent After extensively photographing northern France, the region where she grew up, Claire-Marie Régent, a Lille-based photographer, had the opportunity to broaden her perspective during a two-year journey in Southeast Asia and Australia. Her work is characterized by its compositions, colors, and staging. During the "Uniforms" exhibition, you will discover over 40 colorful portraits taken by the photographer throughout her various travels in Southeast Asia and Australia. Through the lens of clothing, she photographs groups of individuals wearing different uniforms (school, professional, religious, etc.) in public spaces. This project explores the connections and relationships that exist within the groups of people photographed.
