Someone has disappeared, we don't know who, someone is dead. Between reality and fiction, Octopus unfolds from a personal fact a sprawling investigation within an intimate setting, with the audience invited to wander through several spaces of the stage. Octopus 1 (Traces) probes, based on a news item, the connections between the intimate, the historical, and the political. In Octopus 2 (Ghosts), this same fact is the origin of a poetic reflection on the presence of the dead among the living, as well as our need for narratives, fiction, and representation. Finally, in Octopus 3, the two actors participating in the journey and the search grapple with a seemingly naive question: can theater allow a dead person to respond to the questions of the living? duration: Octopus 1 + 2: 1h40 Octopus 1 + 2 + 3: 3h40 (with intermission)
