Given the massive deployment and increasingly ordinary use of generative artificial intelligence tools to find information, what role could Wikipedia play to avoid the risks of easily manipulable information? How can this collaborative online encyclopedia play a major role in science, critical thinking, and be a reliable source of information available to everyone? The exhibition "Opening Science and Making Scientific Information Reliable in Wikipedia" explains how Wikipedia and other tools in the Wikimedia "galaxy" serve science and make reliable scientific knowledge available to everyone. During Science Week, come discover this exhibition at the University Pharmacy Library, produced as part of the Wikimedia residence hosted this year by the University of Montpellier.
Event from the official Montpellier calendar; location: Montpellier; address: University Pharmacy Library - University of Montpellier, 15 Avenue Charles Flahault 34090 Montpellier, 34000, Montpellier.
