The Danses d'Ariane company has been engaged since January 2024 in a choreographic project, Vestiges, on the theme of resistance to colonial slavery, memorial traces hidden in bodies, between suffering, rebellion, solidarity and exaltation. The company explores how bodies resist catastrophe, storms and oppression, how they fall and catch themselves, help each other, support one another and find ways to exult through dance, which becomes an affirmation of their humanity, their dignity and their joy of being alive together despite everything.
