In 2026, the theme of Mental Health Awareness Weeks is the arts. As part of the program, the Chronographe is hosting a conference connected to its exhibition “Maternités, Archaeology of the Maternal Figure.” Led by Elise Marcende, president of the Maman Blues association, the conference will explore parents’ mental health, from the postpartum period and shifts in identity to the upheaval brought about by the birth of a child. Elise Marcende will discuss perinatal mental health difficulties, including perinatal depression, postpartum psychosis, parental burnout, and maternal regret. This conference is organized in partnership with the Centre Socio-culturel Loire et Seil de Rezé. Schedule: 6 p.m.: Focus tour of the Maternités exhibition (booking required by email, phone, or in person) 6:30 p.m.: Departure for the CSC Loire et Seil (a 5–10-minute walk), at 16 Avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny 7 p.m.: Conference followed by a discussion with attendees 9 p.m.: End of the evening
