Every autumn for over 30 years, the town of Saint-Aignan de Grand Lieu has organized the Salon d'art. This event brings together several professional artists: painters, sculptors, visual artists… with eclectic aesthetics.
For this 33rd edition of the Salon d'art, 19 painters and seven sculptors will take over the hall at l’Héronnière. The Salon d'art celebrates the diversity of techniques on offer, aiming to surprise the eye of curious visitors. In sculpture, wood, steel and ceramics will be in the spotlight. In painting, watercolors, pastels, linocuts, oils and acrylics will sit side by side across a wide stylistic range. From abstract art to striking realism, visitors will travel from seascapes to intimate portraits and, as they wander from one canvas to the next, encounter figures that seem to step out of their frames, or unusual still lifes that put a fresh spin on everything from onions to delicious beef ribs!
