On November 4, Égal'iT invites you to Centrale Nantes for an evening of perspectives on gender diversity in sciences and the professional world. At the roundtable, five speakers will share their experiences and viewpoints:
- Kristel Chanard, geophysicist at the IGN, 2024 CNRS Bronze Medal recipient and 2025 Irène Joliot-Curie Prize laureate
- Paul Asquier, General Director of Ouest Sécurité Marine
- Marie Castets, researcher at Inserm and co-director of a pediatric cancer research team
- Lena Harikiopoulos-Cordova, founder of Consequally, who helps organizations achieve greater workplace equality
- Laurent Marquis, from Ingénieurs Pour l'École, committed to introducing technical professions to schoolgirls
After the roundtable, time for small group discussions: an opportunity to share our ideas and identify concrete ways forward to transform practices in education and the professional world. The evening will conclude with a friendly buffet to continue the conversation.
Whether you're a student, professional, or simply curious, come join the discussion: gender diversity concerns all of us, and tomorrow's world is being built today!
Wednesday, November 4, 7 pm to 10 pm Centrale Nantes, lecture hall A and hall A €5, free for students
