by the François Stemmer Company as part of the European Night of Museums La Villa Arson and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Nice, MAMAC, are partnering for the European Night of Museums by inviting the François Stemmer Company for a new edition of the performance "1 teen - 1 artwork," which was inaugurated 10 years ago at the Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris) and has since been presented in numerous artistic institutions. "1 teen - 1 artwork" is a performative stroll through the labyrinthine architecture of Villa Arson with teenagers, staged and choreographed by François Stemmer, resonating with video works from the MAMAC collection and the artistic season of Villa Arson. A food truck will be present to offer drinks and snacks throughout the evening. Current exhibitions, presented until May 31, 2026: - Magnanrama. Portraits, networks, and news of Nathalie Magnan, a collective exhibition dedicated to Nathalie Magnan, media theorist, filmmaker, cyberfeminist and hacktivist, sailor of the seas and the internets, who passed away in 2016. - Mechanical Kurds by Hito Steyerl, a recent video installation blending documentary investigation, fiction, and critical speculation, where the artist explores the invisibilized chains of micro-work, the geopolitics of images, and the delegation mechanisms at play in so-called "autonomous" technologies. Students from Villa Arson, members of the mediation team, will be present to welcome you. Photo: 1 teen - 1 artwork / MAM Paris © Gabriel Mrabi
