Single or solo, as a couple, or among friends, come discover a tropical couples dance from the Caribbean — more specifically from Haiti — right in the heart of Paris.
Nelly practices modern jazz, classical dance, but also Afro dances. She decided to come learn konpa, or compas, on her own — and therefore as a beginner. Compas, or konpa, is a captivating music from Haiti. This music grabs you in the heart and the gut. As a result, it gets you moving and makes you happy. This konpa dance, both sensual and technical, has its own codes and can be learned. EVERY TUESDAY, we offer beginner konpa classes in a Haitian restaurant in Paris. The program breaks down as follows: eat Haitian food, learn konpa, and dance at the party that follows the class.
Price: Limited spots, online booking strongly recommended
