After just five years of playing the double bass and studying jazz, Solène Cairoli moved to New York to pursue a Master’s degree in Jazz at the Manhattan School of Music. There, she had the opportunity to study with renowned musicians such as Buster Williams, Ingrid Jensen, and Phil Markowitz. After three years filled with discoveries and musical encounters, she returned to France. Since her return, she has performed regularly and had the opportunity to play with leading figures in French jazz such as Giovanni Mirabassi, Sylvain Beuf, and Hugo Lippi.
