The workshop with photographer Alexandra Serrano invites children aged 6 to 11 to explore the fascinating universe of the plant world as material, subject, and process of photographic creation.
The children will be guided in creating installations inspired by Land Art, composing still lifes, discovering macrophotography, and experimenting with phytography — an alternative technique that allows plants to be revealed photographically. Organized as an experimental journey, this workshop will accompany the children through several stages: collection, shooting, and laboratory work. They will discover various ways to compose images and reveal the richness and diversity of plant forms. This sensitive and playful immersion, from the plant in its natural environment to the abstract image, will provide an original and creative introduction to the many ways of creating with and from the living. On this occasion, Alexandra Serrano will also present some of her projects, sharing her experience of the living as a space for experimentation.
