À propos

Jointly organized by the Centre culturel de Chine à Paris and the Musée national de Chine, this exhibition invites you on a journey through 10,000 years of Chinese cuisine.

From Friday, September 11 to Tuesday, November 10, 2026 (except Sundays, public holidays, and Saturdays during school holidays). Jointly organized by the Centre culturel de Chine à Paris and the Musée national de Chine, this exhibition invites you on a journey through 10,000 years of Chinese cuisine. More than 30 culinary utensils, combined with immersive digital installations (light animations and virtual reality), trace the art of cooking and banqueting through four thematic sections. From the earliest cooking hearths of antiquity to refined porcelain, the exhibition reveals how Chinese culinary culture shaped the concepts of “harmony of the five flavors” and “harmony in diversity.” The program, available by reservation, includes a talk by Wang Yueqian, the exhibition curator, as well as fun guided tours for young visitors. Exhibition hall in the classical building, Centre culturel de Chine à Paris, 1, boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg, 75007 Paris, free admission, no reservation required.
