École du Bal teaches you to dance freely, without choreographed steps to memorize.
Unlike traditional dance classes based on fixed choreographies, our teaching method gives you independence: you learn to lead and to follow, so you can dance with any partner, at any ball. What we teach: Musette ball dances and popular ballroom dances, in the original Parisian tradition—that of the bistros and dance halls of the early twentieth century—made accessible and vibrant for today. Your instructors: Julie la Môme and Pierrôt la Gambille, both from Paris's popular ballrooms and the ball dance community, have been teaching together for over 10 years.
