The Maison des Petits welcomes children from birth to age 5 and their parents free of charge. It offers a space for play, exchange, sharing, and listening in a uniquely designed setting.
Inspired by Françoise Dolto's Maison Verte, the Maison des Petits is a space designed to awaken curiosity and nurture creativity in young children and the adults accompanying them. Its layout, designed by artist matali crasset, along with the selection of objects and materials provided, freely invite exploration and experimentation. In this calming environment, children — from birth to age 5 — can play, read, paint, draw, dream, and let their imagination run free. Immersion in an artistic universe fosters the expression of each person, while creating moments of sharing with their children, other families, and the welcoming staff. The concept of the Maison des Petits invites families to be together in a privileged way, away from daily concerns. It encourages a different way of being together, one that is more attentive, sensitive, and open.
