An exhibition dedicated to Daft Punk's origins is preparing to open in a 500 m² space in Paris.
More than five years after their breakup, Daft Punk will be the focus of the "Around The World" exhibition, launching this autumn. Fans will be able to see about sixty rare photographs, some never before exhibited, taken by ten photographers from around the world. Divided into two sections, the exhibition will feature staged photos of the group in everyday life, along with archival images taken during their travels abroad between 1995 and 2005, tracing the evolution of the duo formed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. On October 23, starting at 6 p.m. for 24 hours, a pre-event will be held at 58 rue Volta, offering an early preview of the exhibition's first photographs, as well as the chance to pre-order limited-edition prints and reserve exhibition tickets in advance. Online tickets will also be available soon. For now, the dates and venue remain secret.
Admission: Free for the pre-event. Exhibition prices in November: €7 (advance sales) to €10.
