Nuits de Lumière at the Château de Vincennes transforms this exceptional site into an immersive nighttime trail. As night falls, stones bearing nearly 800 years of history come to life through luminous and digital works created specifically to engage with the architecture and memory of the place. Designed as a free-form walk, the trail invites visitors to explore the château at their own pace. Throughout the visit, light installations and monumental projections reveal the monument's volumes, perspectives and iconic spaces, such as the keep, magnified and enhanced. The festival, initiated by the city of Vincennes, brings together some of the most renowned international artists and studios on the light-art scene. Each work was selected to create a truly sensory and participatory experience. The mappings are rich in history and stories and will leave visitors with an unforgettable memory, notably with the voice of Emmanuelle Devos accompanying the historical mapping. Designed for all audiences, the festival offers an immersive experience where history, innovation and digital creation meet in an unprecedented dialogue between light and heritage.
