A unique voice in Danish poetry and, more broadly, in the Nordic countries today, Pia Tafdrup creates a deeply personal body of work and an aesthetic rooted in close attention to sensations and language. She explores the existential dimension of the body, of nature, love, memory and the perception of the world. This event, alongside her French translator Janine Poulsen, will give French audiences the chance to discover or rediscover her work, in dialogue with other figures of contemporary Nordic poetry, notably Inger Christensen. Free entry, no reservation required.
