À propos

On the occasion of their 10 years of existence, the association Les Aliennes organizes an anniversary event that overturns the figure of the muse: Unmuzzled. Far from patriarchal gazes and narratives, female artists and gender minorities explore monstrosity, transformation, and imagination to create their own spaces of inspiration. Book club, podcast club, panel discussion, stand-up, cabaret, and DJ set follow one another and let loose, to highlight the work and creations of the invited artists for this committed celebration.

An afternoon, two Clubs In the afternoon, two free events with registration: - 3 PM - 4:30 PM: Book Club "Romanian Dolls" by Marie Khazrai - More information - 5 PM - 6:30 PM: Podcast Club "Defunct" by Kreature and Dommage - More information A festive evening for all tastes In the evening, Hasard Ludique hosts a succession of artists. Doors open at 8 PM. Panel discussion "The muses are dead, long live the muses!" with Habibitch, Thérèse and Chloé Thibaud Together they explore how female artists and gender minorities can become their own muse, in a world where they have long been relegated to the role of objects. A time for exchange and questions with the audience is also planned. Who are our guests? At the intersection of multiple disciplines and identities, Habibitch is a queer feminist decolonial artist-activist born in Algeria and based in Paris, building an artistic practice as awakened as her politics. Using spaces ranging from the ballroom scene to alternative festivals or institutional venues, Habibitch's performances and statements are always intersectional, decolonizing the dancefloor wherever she goes. "Dancing her politics and politicizing her dance" is this multi-talented artist's life motto. Musician, stylist, engaged speaker and stage coach, Thérèse embodies her tale of a thousand and one lives. Like her atypical journey, her artistic project is free, hybrid, engaged. Popular at its core, demanding in its form. An activist at the intersection of feminism and anti-racism, she is the creator of the podcast "Where Does It Hurt?". Chloé Thibaud is an independent journalist specializing in culture and society topics. She is the author of several essays, including Desiring Violence, Neither Muses Nor Groupies - A Feminist History of Music, and Why Men Are Afraid of Women. Her weekly newsletter, The Assertive, is published every Thursday. Blessing by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence of the Convent of Paris Celebrate the 10 years of Les Aliennes with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence of the Convent of Paris, specially present to bless the association! Since 1979, the Sisters have worked against exclusion and discrimination, and for tolerance, peace, and dialogue between communities. To carry out these commitments, they intervene through happenings and theatrical animations, in costume… Stand-up with Paola Paci Enjoy half an hour of committed stand-up with Paola Paci! Paola evokes, with humor, her anxieties, and takes us to her planet for an uninhibited moment. Pole Dance with Dydy Vulgus Let yourself be transported by the performance of pole dancer Dydy Vulgus. A suspended moment where she expresses her demands and freedom through her art. A pole dancer since 2023 and now aspiring performer, Dydy Vulgus studied literature and art history to address sensuality and sexuality through art and artworks. Noticing the male gaze and ethnocentrism in the discipline, she decided to express her demands and freedom by seeking a kind of consecration in pole dance. DJ set by Vickies from the Venus Club collective Close this day rich in emotions and events with a DJ set by Vickies, member of the feminist collective Venus Club! Keeper of a chest with a thousand musical treasures, Vickies creates an eclectic and bold sonic universe between psychedelic riffs, Indian percussion, and punk anthems. Co-founder of Venus Club, she is committed with her collective to amplify the voices of women and minorities in electronic music. Behind the decks, get ready for an unpredictable odyssey: solar house, fat UK garage, chic disco, groovy funk, retro trance or gems straight from SWANA… With Vickies, gender boundaries fade, and the party becomes a journey.
