Fabula: the first edition of a festival dedicated to storytelling in Rennes. Fabula is for all those who love stories and have imagination. In other words: you. A great outing idea in Rennes with friends, family, or children during the weekend of May 8! Stories from here and elsewhere, from yesterday and today, tales to laugh, to feel, to be surprised, for young ears and older ones! This first edition is sponsored by storytellers Gigi Bigot and Marie Chiff'Mine and features artists like Yannick Jaulin, the duo Albaricate, and Patrick Ewen. This festival is organized by the Rennes association Les Tisseurs de Contes, which has been keeping this art of storytelling alive for over thirty years and has chosen the Ferme de la Harpe, in the Villejean neighborhood of Rennes, to welcome you on the holiday weekend of May 8, 9, and 10, 2026.
