Workshop featuring compositions by Ricky Ford arranged for the occasion. Two working sessions with Ricky and a presentation during the Jazz à la Harpe Festival are planned. Open to all instruments.
Workshop with Ricky FORD episode #2 Last season, we had the distinct honor of welcoming Mr. Ricky FORD, world-renowned saxophonist, for a masterclass and a concert during the Jazz à la Harpe festival. The association then expressed the desire to involve its members more deeply. The idea of a workshop (working on pieces proposed by the artist), slightly more demanding than the masterclasses, emerged. Participants were able to present the fruits of their labor on the main stage of our Jazz festival. Having greatly enjoyed this project, we are relaunching it with an expanded repertoire! On the agenda, three meetings at the Ferme de la Harpe: • A first working session on Wednesday, April 1st from 4 PM to 6 PM • A second working session on Friday, May 8th from 10 AM to 4 PM (bring a picnic) • A presentation of all this work during the Jazz à la Harpe festival on May 28th Of course, all instruments are welcome (subject to availability) Once registered, you will have access to the sheet music in the format that suits you best. The registration requirements are as follows: • Be a member of the 3 Regards – Léo Lagrange association for the 2025-2026 season • A voluntary contribution to the workshop (recommended price: €50) All registrations are made at the association's reception or by calling 02 99 59 45 38
