"Nos futurs ensemble" is the theme chosen by the Quai des Savoirs for the 12th edition of the Lumières sur le Quai festival
An anniversary edition The Quai des Savoirs is celebrating its 10th birthday this year! Rather than giving in to nostalgia, and true to its desire to explore today's world in order to think about tomorrow's, it invites you to join in imagining collectively the next 10, 20 or even 30 years… Partly closed for works for several months, the Quai des Savoirs is taking the opportunity to extend the Lumières sur le Quai festival across the whole of the autumn school holidays, rather than the usual 3 days. A chance to enjoy even more activities: shows, workshops, meet-ups, installations, screenings...
"Nos futurs ensemble" How do scientists see the research of tomorrow? Major discoveries? A greater connection with society? And how are these futures imagined and brought to light by artists from science fiction, comics, animated film and live performance, or by photographers, digital artists and street artists? Could the momentum driven by FabLabs and makers be part of the desirable solutions? And you, the citizens of today, how do you imagine tomorrow?
Programme Artistic installations, science workshops, shows, screenings, meet-ups... plenty of activities are organised throughout the festival.
