Based on Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare As part of the L3 project from the Department of Theater Studies The return of the L3 project! Every year, third-year students in Theater Studies put on a play. This year, 56 final-year students in Performing Arts, specializing in Theater Studies, come together to stage a piece. This year, the L3 class has renamed itself Compagnie Smique (@cie.smique) and is tackling a classic: Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare. A creation supported by the conventioned stage of La Vignette and the University Paul Valéry Montpellier III. Reserve your spot for one of the 4 performances taking place on April 23 and 24, 2026. This play, first performed in 1602, remains relevant today. It explores themes of identity, gender, desire, and cross-dressing, which resonates with our society's move towards acceptance of others, regardless of their identity, and affirms its uniqueness.
