A photography exhibition by Clémentine Nivault, a third-year Visual Arts undergraduate student at Rennes 2
In this exhibition, there is no furniture being made, but contemplation. Contemplation is a visual exploration of Sweden, more specifically its Bohuslän region. It is not a documentary, but a study aimed at capturing atmospheres so that each photographic series has its own story. This project seeks to establish a dialogue between the city and the sea, the descriptive and the contemplative, the art of photography and writing. Clémentine invites you to dive into her world, straight from her summer road trip. As the photographs were taken, a text gradually took shape, giving birth to the project in a continuous movement between images and writing. The text is intended to be at once story, narration, and breath, an invitation to the public to immerse themselves in the Swedish atmosphere, a true Nordic breath of fresh air.
