After a meaningful and engaging first edition, the Grand Cordel MJC continues its commitment to a vibrant, diverse, and world-open literature. By placing writing and speech at the heart of its concerns, the Write & Speak festival aims to amplify unique, powerful, and necessary voices. In the face of the upheavals of our time, words become tools for understanding, emancipation, and sharing. They question, illuminate, sometimes challenge, but always in the spirit of open dialogue. The authors, engaged poets, and artist collectives we welcome this year turn their texts into spaces of struggle, dreams, and thought — forms of joyful resistance against uniformity. The festival will take place in the spaces of the Grand Cordel MJC as well as in partner bookstores, bringing to life a program focused on exchange and creation: writing workshops, performed readings, open stage, meetings… all moments to showcase these new writings, close to everyone, often far from the beaten paths. We invite you to this new edition to meet these living literatures that invent new ways to express the world.
