La Folie Continue #3 welcomes Alzamün, a trio crafting rock music that bridges heritage and the avant-garde. Drawing on Middle Eastern music and British pop, they will take you on a hypnotic journey.
A few grains of sand carried by the wind celebrate the universal across six continents. Legend has it that Alzamün was born from a blend of sands from the Sahara Desert, the beaches of Santa Cruz and lunar dust. This trio crafts rock music that bridges heritage and the avant-garde, drawing on Middle Eastern music, jazz, British pop and the Californian garage scene. Haunting riffs, hypnotic melodies and intense improvisations. The psychedelic fusion of King Gizzard, Gong and Khruangbin. The evening will continue with a DJ set by Sindy Looper. Sindy Looper forged her musical identity at the heart of a diverse sonic environment shaped by psychedelic rock, new beat, acid house and 1990s rave culture. This early influence fuels her approach as an insatiable crate-digger, constantly searching for musical gems and bold stylistic crossovers. She has built a digital record collection that she now shares every Saturday on Tournée Générale (7:30–8:30 p.m., RCV 99FM). Active on the Lille scene for over ten years, she creates spellbinding sets at the crossroads of acid house, nu-disco and left-field dance music. She sculpts sonic depth, building narrative journeys through groovy sensuality, vintage acidity and hypnotic pulses. A devotee of the B2B format, she formed the duo Les Sick Nurses with Gegen Rustine and regularly shares the decks at Relax. Committed to a free culture, she champions music marginalized by the mass media and advocates for a hedonistic electronic scene where pleasure and sonic freedom come first.
